Spider in a Glass

*edit: After some research I've determined this is Araneus trifolium, the Shamrock spider...not Araneus diadematus.

I know, icky spider right? XD

European Garden spider I collected earlier in the week. It had lost a battle against an unknown insect (either a wasp or something). I'd been observing her for a couple days before this, kind of sad really.

She is now preserved in a glass jar (more appropriate than the jelly jar I'd been using )
