Lunaris portrait

This was supposed to be some random drawing I did for art (we had to do a painting) but I got carried away- what else is new?

His name is Lunaris and I didn't give him a name until today (two weeks after this drawing). Why the wait? Because when I give names they are permanent and must fit the character no matter what the situation (weird I know).

He is an elf who shape-shifts into a wolf... haven't quite figured out why. Was originally going to be half elf/dog but was hinted to what he is now by my friend. ^^ his hair is actually blond but my failed shading tells otherwise. XD
